It’s August, my favorite month of the year. And do you know what that means? It means it’s time for the 7th Annual Genealogy Potluck Picnic!

What is Blogger’s Choice?
Who doesn’t love a potluck picnic, especially during the dog days of summer? Sometimes your guests bring a fabulous assortment of delicious dishes. Other times, they bring a dozen different varieties of potato salad. But it’s all good fun!
So… blogger’s choice is kind of like a potluck: YOU get to choose which posts you’ll bring to the party. There is only one requirement: your post(s) must pertain in some way to genealogy and/or family history. Easy, right?

- Ancestor stories
- DNA and genetic genealogy
- Resources and methodology
- Family reunions (how to plan, what to bring, etc.)
- Preservation and restoration of photos and heirlooms
- Family history organizing tips
- Ephemera and/or family treasures
- Heritage recipes, cookbooks, and foods
- Software, hardware, apps, and tech tools
- Reviews of family history books and products
- Activities for children and teens
- August (or any month) holidays and events
