This month’s theme of “May Day” can be interpreted in a few different ways:

  1. A distress signal or cry for help (i.e., “Mayday!”).
  2. An ancient festival marking the first day of summer, usually celebrated on 1 May or the first Monday of May.
  3. International Workers’ Day (a.k.a. Labour Day in some countries), also celebrated on 1 May.

You are welcome to share posts about any of these topics – and more!
